Yesterday it snowed! We were at Ben's house picking up a printer in the morning and we almost got snowed in at his house. People had to push our little car up the hill to get out of the village. Took us over an hour to get home (usually a 10 minute drive). We couldnt' even get the car up the drive (which is a dirt path through the meadow), we had to park it on the road and walk up.

WOW!!! That's a far cry from L.A., eh? I am really LOVIN' zhem boots, too!! Can you tell me the name of the store you bought them at? Maybe it's a chain here in Paris.... Let me know... I want them!!
Enjoy the snowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! And good luck with the car!
Wow, snow. I haven't seen that in real life since I was about ten.
Love the boots.
How do the dogs go with the cold?
You are really getting your share of the white stuff! Well, I told you we had seasons here...
Hope all is well.
Leesa - the store isn't a chain. it's just a local spot in Villefranche. The brand of the boots is Dorking and the style is Lahore Bombon, model 2131. Good luck. I had such a hard time finding brown boots, everything in france is black! They were the only brown ones in the store.
All the snow melted on the 27th - gone, you'd never know we got dumped on. thank god!
M - Bruce hasn't seen snow in 20 years. I grew up in Michigan, but haven't been back during snow in a long long time, almost 20 years. The dogs love the snow. Dashell (the punk) goes crazy and runs all over the meadow and it's so fun for him. Stella is doing much better with the cold, at first she didn't like it.
Betty - argh!!!!! Did you get tons of snow in the 26th? Luckily it's all gone now. Seasons for sure.
No, we didn't get tons, just a quick sprinkling. My husband had to cancel an appointment near Réquista, though, so I know some parts of Aveyron got a lot more.
I love your boots!
It has been cold lately... But it sounds like you had a lovely Christmas. I don't even know where our bikes are... They haven't been touched since we moved. Maybe, once we are actually living in our house we can pause to enjoy!
I think your car needs some cross-country skis.
We were trying to visit a friend in hospital between Gramat and Figeac - big mistake! Turn around, go home and watch snow from in front of the fire!!!
